Dr. Shameel S. Patel
Dr. Shameel S. Patel is a licensed Chiropractor proudly serving the Valdosta and Thomasville communities. His mission is to partner with his patients in creating healthier lives, by stabilizing the nervous system to help your body heal itself, restore function, and perform at its optimum level. He believes in being a positive force and a viable resource for our community’s health through family-based, state of the art, and evidence based Chiropractic care. He sincerely cares for all of his patients and hopes to inspire them with an alternative, vitalistic approach to health and to provide effective support to help them make positive lifestyle choices. Dr. Patel understands that each patient is different and unique in their-own way, and thus creates a treatment plan based on each individual’s needs to help them solve the problem and not just the symptom. As a recent graduate with the most up to date knowledge in Chiropractic care along with routinely attending Chiropractic and Medical seminars, he is able to provide the most cutting edge and superior quality of care for his patients.
Dr. Patel is a native of Southern Illinois. He attended Southern Illinois College located in Carbondale, Illinois where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Bio Chemistry. He has always tried to live a healthy lifestyle by playing various sports such as baseball, basketball, football, golf, tennis, and cricket. His active lifestyle along with his interests in human biomechanics, life sciences, and a helping nature led him to a career in Chiropractic. He attended Logan College of Chiropractic located in St. Louis, Mo where he graduated with another bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences along with a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic. Throughout his tenure as a student at Logan, Dr. Patel excelled in academics while also becoming a leader in his class. He was elected to become a Clinical Teaching Assistant for Logan’s outpatient clinic and was honored with multiple awards for helping the greater Saint Louis community. After graduating from Logan, Dr. Patel received a great opportunity in Thomasville, Ga where he became a licensed Chiropractor and has been practicing for the last two years. Dr. Patel recently opened his second clinic in Valdosta, Georgia to help serve both communities. Dr. Patel loves what he does and is honored to help as many people as he can around the South Georgia communities.
